EnergyHub has acquired Kapacity.io, a Helsinki-based specialist in heat pump optimization and residential flexibility, to accelerate demand-side flexibility and expand virtual power plant (VPP) capabilities into Europe. Kapacity.io will continue partnering with electricity retailers, heat pump manufacturers and system operators while leveraging EnergyHub's DERMS expertise and resources; EnergyHub is an independent subsidiary of Alarm.com.
