Sun Print Solutions Acquires Plumb Marketing

Sun Print Solutions of Salt Lake City, Utah has acquired Plumb Marketing, a Denver-based direct mail and commercial printing company. The transaction, arranged by Graphic Arts Advisors, will expand Sun Print Solutions' geographic footprint and capacity — including enhanced political print and mail capabilities — while Plumb Marketing's owners (the Epps) will remain engaged during the transition.

Techmer PM Acquires Colors for Plastics

Techmer PM has acquired Colors for Plastics, a provider of color concentrates and custom color solutions, in a deal that closed January 31, 2025. The acquisition expands Techmer PM's product offerings and color technology capabilities, and brings Colors for Plastics' Elk Grove Village, Illinois and Spartanburg, South Carolina sites and employees into Techmer's organization.

Platinum Equity Acquires Multi-Color Corporation

An affiliate of Platinum Equity has completed the acquisition of Multi-Color Corporation, taking the Cincinnati-based label and packaging solutions provider private. The deal merges Multi-Color with a subsidiary of Platinum portfolio company WS Packaging to create a combined business with roughly $2.2 billion in annual revenue, 86 plants across 26 countries and over 10,000 employees.

Graphic Village has acquired DMS ink (formerly Dayton Mailing Services), a Yellow Springs-based provider of personalized digital-mailing, marketing automation, and fulfillment services. The DMS ink team and operations will continue at the Yellow Springs facility under the Graphic Village name; former owner Christine Soward will remain as VP of Business Development for mailing services.

The deal will integrate Promotion Concepts' operations into Metro Printed Products to expand print capabilities and streamline client solutions while retaining continuity with the former owner's daughter, Ashlyn Powers, joining the team.
