Connectbase Acquires MasterStream

Connectbase has acquired MasterStream (MasterStream ERP), a telecom-centric configure-price-and-quote (CPQ) software provider, to expand and accelerate its channel quoting and connectivity commerce offerings. The deal integrates MasterStream's quoting capabilities (which process roughly 500,000 quotes monthly) into Connectbase's Industry Cloud for Connectivity and grows Connectbase's marketplace ecosystem; FOCUS Investment Banking advised MasterStream on the sale.

Equality Asset Management (EAM) made a strategic investment in Connectbase to support the acquisition and accelerate global expansion.

LBMX Acquires Buying Group Services (BGS)

LBMX Inc., a London, Ontario–based business marketplace platform provider, acquired Buying Group Services (BGS) in an all‑shares transaction effective January 1, 2022. The acquisition adds managed services capabilities to LBMX's existing EDI, PIM and eCommerce offerings, enabling expanded services (including central payments and PIM enrichment) for independent distributors, buying groups and suppliers across end markets such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building materials and food service equipment.

Macquarie Asset Management Acquires 50% Stake in Last Mile Infrastructure Group from Infracapital

Macquarie Asset Management (via Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 7) has acquired a 50% stake in Last Mile Infrastructure Group from Infracapital, with Infracapital retaining the remaining 50%. Last Mile, one of the UK’s largest independent network owners that designs, builds, owns and operates last-mile electricity, gas, water and wastewater networks, will benefit from the partnership to support growth and energy-transition opportunities across the UK. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approvals.

LSEG Acquires MayStreet

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) has signed an agreement to acquire MayStreet, a provider of global low-latency market data and technology. The acquisition expands LSEG's Enterprise Data Solutions capabilities across the latency spectrum to strengthen real-time feeds and front-office data offerings; the deal is expected to close in H1 2022 and financial terms were not disclosed.

Symphony Acquires StreetLinx

Symphony, the secure markets infrastructure and communication platform, has acquired StreetLinx, a counterparty mapping and verified identity directory for financial services. The deal adds more than 200 institutional counterparties to Symphony's directory and aims to expand Symphony's identity and directory capabilities across buy-side and sell-side firms.
