The deal brings UVI founders and executives into WellAir's leadership team and combines UVI's surface-disinfection technology with WellAir's air-cleaning platform to create a broader infection-control product ecosystem.

(NASDAQ:AUVI) entered into definitive agreements to acquire PURO Lighting, LLC and LED Supply Co. in a combined transaction valued at approximately $20 million (cash and restricted shares). The deals would roughly double Applied UV's size—adding an estimated $18 million of revenue—and expand its distribution, sales capabilities and access to PURO's strategic relationships (including Acuity Brands) for FDA‑cleared disinfection products.

SunMed Acquires Vyaire Medical's Respiratory & Anesthesia Consumables Business

SunMed, a Frazier Healthcare Partners–backed medical-device manufacturer headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, agreed to acquire Vyaire Medical’s respiratory and anesthesia consumables business, a unit that makes airway management and operative-care consumables. The deal—announced March 28, 2023 and completed May 1, 2023—expands SunMed’s product portfolio, manufacturing footprint and global reach; terms were not disclosed.

AeroVironment Acquires Arcturus UAV for $405M

AeroVironment, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVAV) will acquire Arcturus UAV, Inc., a Petaluma, California–based developer and manufacturer of Group 2 and 3 unmanned aircraft systems, for a total purchase price of $405 million (approximately $355 million cash and $50 million in AeroVironment stock). The acquisition expands AeroVironment's product portfolio into higher-value Group 2 and 3 UAS segments, adds Arcturus’s ~270 employees and COCO services capability, and is expected to be accretive to adjusted EBITDA and GAAP EPS in fiscal 2022.

Nederman Acquires Duroair Technologies Inc

Sweden-based environmental technology company Nederman has acquired Canadian air-filtration manufacturer Duroair Technologies Inc to strengthen its Extraction & Filtration Technology division in the US and Canada. The deal implies an enterprise value of approximately CAD 11 million with a potential earn-out of up to CAD 4 million; Duroair (headquartered in Niagara Falls, Ontario) will continue to operate under its brand and has about 10 employees.
