The add-on expands Alares' fiber backbone and customer base — adding about 115,000 customers and ~450 employees — strengthening its presence in São Paulo and marking entry into Paraná as part of an inorganic consolidation strategy.

Grain Management Acquires Conexão Group from ACON Investments

Grain Management, a U.S.-based private investment firm focused on broadband infrastructure, has acquired Conexão Group, a fast-growing Brazilian broadband provider that serves more than 450,000 residential subscribers and over 20,000 business customers across six states. The transaction represents an exit for ACON Investments (affiliates of ACON Latin America Opportunities Fund IV); terms were not disclosed.

ProA Capital Acquires Majority Stake in Grupo Amara

Spanish private equity firm ProA Capital has acquired a majority stake in Grupo Amara (Amara), a 60-year-old distributor of electrical material and supplier to the renewable energy and telecom sectors. Management, led by Pablo Arnús and Gonzalo Errejón, remain in place and retain a significant share; ProA's investment is intended to provide financial backing for growth and international expansion (notably the United States).

AFL Acquires Forza Telecom (DGP)

AFL, a Spartanburg, South Carolina-based manufacturer and services provider in fiber optics, has acquired Forza Telecom (operating as DGP / DAS Group Professionals), a Walnut Creek, California–based provider of distributed antenna system (DAS) installations for large sports venues. The deal expands AFL's wireless services portfolio and DAS capabilities while strengthening its presence in U.S. sports-venue wireless networking, particularly in the West, Southwest and Southeast.

Grain Management Acquires Spectrotel

Grain Management, a private investment firm focused on broadband and communications infrastructure, has completed its acquisition of Spectrotel, a New Jersey-based integrated technology and managed services provider. Spectrotel's founder Jack Dayan will retain a minority stake and Ross Artale will become CEO; the deal expands Grain's activity in the managed services segment of the global broadband industry.

AXAITRA Acquires Zertia Telecomunicaciones S.L.
