Advanced Integration Technology Acquires Nova-Tech Engineering

Advanced Integration Technology (AIT) announced an investment to acquire Nova-Tech Engineering, a Lynnwood, Washington-based designer and integrator of aerospace assembly automation, materials handling and friction-stir welding equipment. Nova-Tech will operate as a distinct business line within AIT, expanding AIT’s aerospace automation capabilities and international footprint; financial terms were not disclosed.

SP Industries (Harbour Group) Acquires i-Dositecno

SP Industries, a Harbour Group company, acquired Irta Dosificacio I Technologia S.L. (i-Dositecno), a Spain-based provider of sterile liquid filling lines for pharmaceutical, cosmetic and ophthalmic applications. The acquisition (terms undisclosed) expands SP Industries' fill-finish product portfolio and adds i-Dositecno's European and Asian footprint and engineering/service capabilities to better serve global customers.

Irys Acquires Diversified Technical Services Inc. (DTSI)

San Antonio-based tech startup Irys has acquired Diversified Technical Services Inc. (DTSI), a longtime defense contractor now operating as a DTSI business unit of Irys. The all-cash deal preserves DTSI's name, its existing defense-sector contracts and roughly 60 employees, and gives Irys immediate past performance and capabilities to expand into government and DoD contracting.

TRP Capital Acquires Diversified Technologies International (DTI)

TransDigm Acquires DART Aerospace for Approximately $360M

TransDigm Group Incorporated agreed to acquire DART Aerospace, a Montreal-based manufacturer of helicopter mission equipment, from Greenbriar Equity Group and First Aviation Services for approximately $360 million in cash. DART, which generates roughly $100 million in pro forma 2022 revenue and employs about 400 people across facilities in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, was acquired to expand TransDigm's proprietary product and aftermarket capabilities; the deal is expected to close in Q2 2022 subject to customary approvals.

The transaction transfers over 180 subject matter experts into SPA’s JOID and S&ID divisions, expanding SPA’s capabilities across the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community; financial terms were not disclosed.
