SPARC Research Acquires Design Integrated Technology (DIT)

SPARC Research, an aerospace propulsion company based in Warrenton, Virginia, announced it will acquire Design Integrated Technology (DIT), a Warrenton-based manufacturer of high-viscosity industrial mixers and propellant testing equipment. The deal is intended to expand SPARC Research’s manufacturing capabilities and commercial presence, with the acquisition expected to close in early 2022.

Ingersoll Rand Acquires Dosatron International

Ingersoll Rand Inc. has acquired Dosatron International L.L.C. and Dilution Solutions L.L.C. for an all-cash upfront purchase price of approximately $90 million plus up to $15 million in potential future consideration. The Clearwater, Florida–based dosing pump and fluid-dosing systems business (about 45 employees) will join Ingersoll Rand's Precision and Science Technologies segment, expanding the company's digital and IIoT-enabled capabilities into controlled environment agriculture, hydroponics, horticulture, animal health, food safety and water treatment.

IDEX Corporation Acquires Iridian Spectral Technologies

IDEX Corporation agreed to acquire Iridian Spectral Technologies for CAD 150 million and completed the acquisition in May 2023. Iridian, an Ottawa-based designer and manufacturer of thin-film optical filters serving laser communications, telecommunications and life sciences markets, will join IDEX's Optical Technologies within its Health & Science Technology segment to expand IDEX's optical coating and filter capabilities.

Peak Technologies (Sole Source Capital) Acquires VisionID and Dalosy

Peak Technologies, a portfolio company of Sole Source Capital, acquired Irish systems integrator VisionID and Dutch AIDC provider Dalosy to expand its Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) footprint into Europe. Both add-ons broaden Peak's capabilities in hardware, labels, software and managed services across healthcare, food & beverage, industrial, and transportation & logistics end markets; terms were not disclosed.

Novo Holdings Acquires The Ritedose Corporation

Novo Holdings A/S has agreed to acquire The Ritedose Corporation from AGIC Capital and Humanwell. Ritedose, a Columbia, South Carolina-based sterile pharmaceutical manufacturer specializing in blow-fill-seal (BFS) technology for ophthalmic, respiratory and vaccine products, employs more than 400 people and will remain led by CEO Jody Chastain; the transaction is expected to close in Q1 2022.
