Symmetry Laser has completed the acquisition of ArcRev, adding specialized laser-cutting expertise and production capacity to expand its precision manufacturing platform for the medical device industry. The deal strengthens Symmetry Laser's ability to support customers from rapid prototyping through high-volume production, preserves ArcRev's team and operations, and was advised by Covington Partners; financial terms were not disclosed.

Sole Source Capital-backed portfolio company Supply Chain Services has acquired Coridian Technologies, a provider of labeling, barcoding, data collection, and RFID solutions headquartered near Chanhassen, Minnesota. The transaction is the third add-on for Supply Chain Services and expands the platform's AIDC product and services capabilities across healthcare, manufacturing, and warehouse/distribution end markets.

Kyocera Acquires SLD Laser (Soraa Laser Diode, Inc.)

Kyocera Corporation has agreed to acquire 100% ownership of California-based SLD Laser (formally Soraa Laser Diode, Inc.), a developer and manufacturer of gallium nitride (GaN) based laser light sources. SLD Laser commercializes high-brightness laser products for mobility, specialty lighting, consumer and industrial applications and will become a Kyocera group company upon regulatory approval.

Luth-AR Acquires ACRO Machine Inc.

Luth-AR has purchased all assets of ACRO Machine Inc., a Minnesota-based barrel manufacturing company, bringing barrel machining in-house after a 23-year partnership. The acquisition adds CNC turning and milling capacity and proprietary fixtures/programs to support expanded barrel offerings, new calibers, contours and specialized coatings.
