The new higher-education technology platform is headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, serves more than 2,100 institutions across 30+ countries, and has nearly 1,400 employees worldwide.

Finalsite Acquires Blackboard K-12 Community Engagement Division from Anthology

The acquisition combines complementary website, marketing, and communications solutions (including Blackboard Web Community Manager, Connect, Reach, Mass Notifications, and the Mobile Communications App) to expand Finalsite's K-12 product portfolio and global client base.

Ellucian Acquires Anthology's SIS and ERP Business

Ellucian has completed the acquisition of Anthology's Student Information Systems (SIS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) business, having been the successful bidder in Anthology's Chapter 11 process. The deal transfers more than 260 Anthology SIS and ERP customers to Ellucian and is intended to provide continuity for customers while expanding Ellucian's higher-education product and services ecosystem.

Anthology Acquires xRM.com LLC's Foundation and Matching Solutions

Veritas Capital Acquires Houghton Mifflin Harcourt
