Stone Point Capital Takes Majority Stake in PrismHR

Funds managed by Stone Point Capital LLC acquired a majority stake in PrismHR, the Hopkinton, Massachusetts–based HR technology platform. The transaction brings Stone Point into partnership with existing investor Summit Partners (which remains invested) and follows prior ownership by Accel-KKR; the investment is intended to fuel PrismHR's growth and expand its HR/payroll capabilities for SMB-focused HR outsourcers.

Workerbee will operate independently under Agilea leadership (Heiko Roth as CEO) and its Workerbee Enterprise product will add centralized account management and PO-based billing to Agilea's HCM systems-integration offerings.

HR Path Acquires Blueprint HR Software from Blueprint Technologies

Hyperion Materials & Technologies Acquires Prism Technologies, Inc.

Hyperion Materials & Technologies announced an agreement to acquire Prism Technologies, Inc., an Elizabeth, Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of compaction tooling, specialty components and wear parts. Prism will be integrated into Hyperion’s Precision Solutions business unit to add compaction tooling capabilities and capacity; the transaction is expected to close subject to customary conditions.

Harris Acquires PrismRBS LLC

N. Harris Computer Corporation (Harris) has acquired PrismRBS LLC, a campus retail software provider whose suite includes point-of-sale, back-office ERP, mobile and e-commerce solutions. PrismRBS' products and team will join Harris Education Solutions to expand Harris' footprint and capabilities in the higher education retail market, where PrismRBS serves 500+ campus locations across North America.
