PrismHR, the Hopkinton, Massachusetts-based HR software platform, acquired AgileHR, a Wichita-based provider of cloud-based talent management and performance management software. The acquisition brings AgileHR's full suite of talent management solutions into the PrismHR platform and Marketplace to strengthen PrismHR's talent management offerings for HRO customers and SMBs; terms were not disclosed.

EverSmith Brands Acquires Prism Specialties

EverSmith Brands, a franchised commercial facilities platform owned by The Riverside Company, has acquired Prism Specialties, a leading franchisor of specialty restoration services for electronics, textiles, art and documents. The deal is an add-on to the EverSmith portfolio intended to expand capability and franchise coverage across commercial and residential restoration end markets; Prism's CEO Chris Ring will become Prism Brand President for EverSmith.

World Insurance Associates Acquires Prism (PRISM Insurance Group)

World Insurance Associates LLC acquired the business of Prism (PRISM Insurance Group) of Cedarhurst, New York effective July 1, 2023; terms were not disclosed. Prism, founded in the mid-1990s, specializes in insurance brokerage and risk management for the healthcare industry—particularly workers' compensation and professional liability—and will join World’s national insurance brokerage platform to expand its healthcare-focused capabilities and service footprint.

Hyperion Materials & Technologies Acquires Prism Technologies, Inc.

Hyperion Materials & Technologies announced an agreement to acquire Prism Technologies, Inc., an Elizabeth, Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of compaction tooling, specialty components and wear parts. Prism will be integrated into Hyperion’s Precision Solutions business unit to add compaction tooling capabilities and capacity; the transaction is expected to close subject to customary conditions.

Stone Point Capital Takes Majority Stake in PrismHR

The transaction brings Stone Point into partnership with existing investor Summit Partners (which remains invested) and follows prior ownership by Accel-KKR; the investment is intended to fuel PrismHR's growth and expand its HR/payroll capabilities for SMB-focused HR outsourcers.
