Concrete Pumping Holdings Acquires Capital Pumping

Concrete Pumping Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: BBCP) agreed to acquire Capital Pumping, LP and its affiliates in an all-cash transaction to expand its footprint and scale in the fragmented Texas concrete-pumping market. The deal—expected to close in Q2 2019 and financed via equity/equity-linked securities and additional term loans—adds a well-run, family-owned Texas business with an efficient, young fleet and reported adjusted EBITDA of approximately $23 million for 2018.

Concrete Pumping Holdings Acquires Coastal Carolina Pumping

Concrete Pumping Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: BBCP) completed the all-cash acquisition of Coastal Carolina Pumping, Inc., the largest concrete pumping service provider in the Carolinas, adding 89 units of operating equipment and expanding CPH’s footprint in North Carolina, South Carolina and Central Florida. The transaction was funded from existing debt facilities and operational free cash flow and is intended to increase service capacity, expand fleet availability, and provide Coastal customers access to CPH’s Eco‑Pan concrete waste management services.

Atlas Copco Acquires CPC Pumps International Inc.

Atlas Copco has acquired CPC Pumps International Inc., a Burlington, Ontario-based designer, manufacturer and servicer of custom-engineered centrifugal pumps. CPC Pumps (110 employees; ~MSEK 385 in FY2020) will join Atlas Copco's Gas & Process division within the Compressor Technique business area to add complementary pump technology and strengthen its market position in North America.

(CPI) has acquired Ferebee Corporation, a Charlotte-based full-service hot‑mix asphalt and paving company with three hot‑mix asphalt plants in the greater Charlotte/Rock Hill area. The acquisition is a platform move that expands CPI's geographic footprint into western North Carolina and the Charlotte metro, and is expected to be accretive to earnings while maintaining the company's 2022 fiscal year-end leverage ratio.

Chaney Enterprises Acquires Concrete Solutions, LLC

Chaney Enterprises, a construction material supplier based in Gambrills, Maryland, has acquired Concrete Solutions, LLC, a ready-mix concrete operator with plants in Raeford and Goldston, North Carolina. The purchase expands Chaney's footprint into central North Carolina and brings its planned total of three North Carolina ready-mix locations (Raeford, Goldston and an expected Powells Point site).

CMP Group Acquires MarineTech Products

CMP Group Ltd, an Ironbridge portfolio company headquartered in Delta, British Columbia, has acquired MarineTech Products, Inc., a marine-products manufacturer based in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota. The deal expands CMP's U.S. presence and broadens its recreational marine product portfolio; founder and owner Larry Grundtner will remain with the combined business to support the transition.
