Hospeco Brands Group Acquires Innocore (Canada)

Hospeco Brands Group has purchased Innocore, an Ontario-based manufacturer of premoistened non-woven wipes sold under the Touch Point and Certainty Brands. The acquisition strengthens Hospeco's wipes offering and expands its North American footprint by adding Innocore’s two Ontario manufacturing facilities and established brands to its product portfolio.

TriWest Capital Partners Acquires Majority Interest in Monarch Industries

TriWest Capital Partners, alongside BDC Capital's Growth Equity Partners, BMO Capital Partners and Export Development Canada, has acquired a majority interest in Monarch Industries, a Winnipeg-based manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders and custom iron castings. The transaction marks an exit for Merit Capital Partners and is intended to support Monarch's next stage of growth across North American markets serving agriculture, construction and industrial OEM customers.

ABC Supply Co., Inc. has acquired the Monarch Group of Companies — including Monarch Siding Centre Inc., Monarch Exterior Centre Inc., and Monarch Metal Systems Inc. — marking ABC Supply’s first expansion into Canada. The acquisition adds five Monarch locations across Alberta (Calgary, Edmonton, Acheson, Red Deer and Lethbridge) and brings a regional distributor of siding, roofing and exterior building materials into ABC Supply’s network.

The Renco Group Acquires Renfro Brands

Crown Capital Acquires Ace-Tex Enterprises, Inc.

Atlanta-based private investment firm Crown Capital (CCI) has acquired Ace-Tex Enterprises, Inc., a Detroit-headquartered manufacturer and distributor of wiping cloths and industrial wipers. The family-owned business, established in 1946 with operations in the U.S. and Canada and customers including Fortune 500 automotive firms, will join Crown’s portfolio to support growth and leverage synergies with other portfolio companies.
