Clarivate plc announced a definitive agreement on May 17, 2021 and completed the acquisition of ProQuest on Dec. 1, 2021. Clarivate paid $5.3 billion including refinancing of ProQuest debt (approximately $4.0 billion cash and $1.3 billion equity) to acquire the global software, content, data and analytics provider from Cambridge Information Group and other investors including Atairos to expand its research intelligence capabilities.

Ideagen Acquires EQMS Provider Qualsys for £15.6m

Ideagen Plc has acquired EQMS provider Qualsys for £15.6 million. Qualsys, a Sheffield-based electronic quality management software company with more than 50 employees and customers across pharmaceuticals, healthcare and manufacturing, will be integrated into Ideagen's Q-Pulse product family to strengthen its EQMS and QHSE cloud offering.

Clarivate Acquires CPA Global

Clarivate Plc completed its acquisition of CPA Global, combining CPA Global’s IP software, data and services with Clarivate’s analytics to create an end-to-end intellectual property solutions provider. Former CPA Global shareholders — including Leonard Green & Partners, funds advised by Castik Capital and Partners Group — received approximately 217 million Clarivate ordinary shares, representing about 35% pro forma fully diluted ownership.

Quisitive Acquires Mazik Global

Quisitive Technology Solutions Inc. acquired Mazik Global Inc., a Chicago-based Microsoft ISV that provides healthcare-focused cloud solutions including the MazikCare platform and VaccineFlow. The acquisition adds Mazik's IP, roughly 50 employees and a Chicago hub to Quisitive, expanding Quisitive's healthcare capabilities and U.S. footprint.

Majesco Acquires Global IQX

MasterControl Acquires Qualer

The deal integrates Qualer’s asset management capabilities into MasterControl’s QMS and MES platform to offer unified quality, manufacturing, and asset performance management for regulated life sciences customers.
