VertiGIS, a Battery Ventures‑backed GIS software platform, has acquired 100% of EDP Consult AB, a Staffanstorp, Sweden‑based software and services provider for Swedish municipalities. The deal expands VertiGIS’ public‑sector and utilities capabilities in the Nordic market and brings EDP’s product lines (EDP Future, EDP Mobile, EDP Vision) into the VertiGIS portfolio.

(BIS), a provider of software and electronic payment solutions serving state and local governments. The aggregate purchase price was approximately $87.7 million ( $52.5M cash and $35.2M Class A common stock) plus up to $16.0 million of contingent consideration; approximately 150 BIS employees joined i3 Verticals.

Bureau Veritas Acquires IDP Group

Bureau Veritas has acquired IDP Group, a Barcelona-region specialist in Building Information Modeling (BIM), Project Management Assistance and Digital Twin services, which will become a Bureau Veritas Global Technical Center for BIM and digital solutions. IDP generated €30.2 million in revenue in 2023 and employs roughly 550 specialists; the deal expands Bureau Veritas' Buildings & Infrastructure digital capabilities and strengthens its decarbonization and asset-digitalization offerings.

NV5 Global Acquires GIS Solutions, Inc.

(NV5) has agreed to acquire GIS Solutions, Inc., a Springfield, Illinois–based provider of enterprise GIS application development, cloud database design, data science, and project management services for state departments of transportation and utilities. The deal, paid with a combination of cash and stock, is expected to be immediately accretive to NV5 and expands NV5’s geospatial and cloud-managed data capabilities.
