TEAM Technologies Acquires Baril Corporation

TEAM Technologies, a Clearlake-backed North American healthcare specialty manufacturer, acquired Baril Corporation, a Haverhill, Massachusetts-based contract manufacturer of disposable single-use medical products. The add-on expands TEAM's capabilities in die-cutting, laminating, device assembly and infection prevention/wound care manufacturing; financial terms were not disclosed and financing was provided by credit funds managed by affiliates of Ares Management with co-lender Northwest Mutual Capital.

Arlington Capital Partners has acquired TEAM Technologies, a Morristown, Tennessee–headquartered medical device manufacturer and strategic supply‑chain solutions provider, from Clearlake Capital Group for an undisclosed sum. Arlington plans to build on TEAM Tech’s vertically integrated manufacturing footprint and accelerate growth through organic investment and strategic add‑on M&A to strengthen healthcare supply chains and customer capabilities.

Micron Waste Technologies Acquires Covid Technologies Inc.

Micron Waste Technologies Inc. entered into a definitive purchase agreement to acquire all of the shares of Covid Technologies Inc., a Canadian PPE and mask manufacturer. Covid's manufacturing assets and founder Harveer Sidhu will relocate to Micron's Delta, British Columbia facilities, with the PPE line expected to be self-financing while Micron continues R&D on its waste digesters.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

WorkWave Acquires TEAM Software

WorkWave, a PE-backed provider of field service SaaS solutions, has signed an agreement to acquire TEAM Software, a leading provider of software for cleaning, janitorial, security, and facilities management service providers. The deal (expected to close end of September 2021) is an add-on to WorkWave’s portfolio that expands its vertical coverage and international footprint; TEAM was previously backed by Accel-KKR.

The add-on expands TEAM Tech's end-to-end medical device manufacturing capabilities — including polymer extrusion and interventional cardiovascular device production — to better serve medical device OEMs and accelerate manufacturing at scale.
