TruArc Partners, a New York–based private equity firm, acquired Molded Devices, Inc., a Tempe, Arizona–headquartered manufacturer of precision plastic and rubber components, from PNC Mezzanine Capital and founder Brian Anderson. TruArc said the acquisition supports its specialty manufacturing strategy and will help deepen Molded Devices' capabilities and exposure to the medical OEM market.

Aptyx Acquires Argos Corporation to Launch Precision Extrusion Center of Excellence

Aptyx has acquired Argos Corporation, a Massachusetts-based precision extrusion specialist, and will establish a Boston-area Precision Extrusion Center of Excellence to expand medical tubing and catheter-grade extrusion capacity. The deal enhances Aptyx’s capabilities for interventional and catheter-based device markets, adding in-house tooling and micro-extrusion expertise to its integrated medical manufacturing platform.

Arterex Acquires Adroit USA Inc.

Arterex has acquired Adroit USA Inc., a vertically integrated medical device contract manufacturer with facilities in Bangalore, India and a U.S. engineering lab in Milpitas, California. The deal adds over 650 employees and expanded injection molding, precision metal fabrication and assembly capabilities, strengthening Arterex’s global manufacturing footprint and offering an alternative production source to China.

Molded Devices (MDI) Acquires GlobalMed's Medical Tubing Operations from Schauenburg

Molded Devices, Inc. (MDI), majority‑owned by TruArc Partners, acquired GlobalMed Inc. (Canada) and Schauenburg‑Truplast (China) from Schauenburg Hose Technology. The deal expands MDI’s extrusion and tubing capabilities for medical device OEMs, adding GlobalMed’s Canadian and Chinese production footprint and management team to MDI’s global manufacturing platform. Financial terms were not disclosed.

SyBridge Technologies Acquires Pyramid Mold and Tool

Resonetics Acquires Eden Holdings to Add Injection Molding and Precision Tooling

The deal expands Resonetics' polymer and tooling capabilities to better serve medical device OEM end markets including robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, electrophysiology, and rapid diagnostics.
