DoiT Acquires LiveDiagrams

The acquisition will integrate LiveDiagrams' mapping, monitoring and cost-analysis capabilities into the DoiT Cloud Intelligence platform to give SRE and DevOps teams better visibility and control across AWS, Google Cloud and Azure.

Apptio Acquires Cloudwiry

Apptio, Inc. has acquired Cloudwiry, an Austin-based FinOps and multi-cloud cost-optimization SaaS provider. The deal (closed December 22, 2022) will integrate Cloudwiry’s automated reservation and savings-plan optimization capabilities into Apptio’s Cloudability offering to expand Apptio’s cloud cost-optimization and FinOps functionality.

DoiT Acquires SELECT to Add PerfectScale for Snowflake

DoiT (DoiT International) has acquired SELECT, a Toronto-founded data platform optimization company focused on Snowflake, integrating SELECT into its Cloud Intelligence platform as "PerfectScale for Snowflake." The deal—part of DoiT's $250 million AI investment strategy—will extend FinOps automation into the data layer and retains SELECT's team and customer contracts; financial terms were not disclosed.

Deloitte Acquires CloudQuest to Strengthen Cloud Security Capabilities

Deloitte acquired substantially all assets of CloudQuest, Inc., a Cupertino-based cloud security posture management (CSPM) provider, to expand its cloud-native cybersecurity offerings. The deal adds CloudQuest's CSPM and cloud-native security capabilities to Deloitte's Cyber Cloud portfolio to improve cloud security orchestration, automation and response.
