Apptio, a Bellevue-based technology business management software company, completed the acquisition of Cloudability, a Portland-based leader in multi-cloud financial management, on May 31, 2019. The deal adds Cloudability’s FinOps capabilities — which manage more than $9 billion in enterprise cloud spend and serve 250+ enterprise customers — to Apptio’s portfolio to deliver an integrated, cloud-agnostic cost and financial-management solution.

IBM has acquired Apptio Inc. from Vista Equity Partners for $4.6 billion, adding Apptio's FinOps and cloud cost-management SaaS capabilities to IBM's IT automation and watsonx AI portfolio.
