Noverra Acquires Thorpe Design

Noverra Group of Companies acquired Thorpe Design, a Brentwood, California fire protection and sprinkler contractor, from founder Jim Thorpe in a deal that closed in late 2015. The transaction included fixed consideration, a vendor take-back loan to Jim Thorpe, and a leadership succession plan that placed the founder's son-in-law as company president with Noverra's support.

Noverra Acquires Victory Fire Protection and Integrates it into Thorpe Design

Noverra acquired Victory Fire Protection from founders Mike and Gaylene Slocum in January 2020 and operated the business as a stand-alone entity for one year. In January 2021 Victory Fire was merged into Noverra’s existing Thorpe Design business to create a larger, market-leading residential fire protection operator in Northern California.

Noverra Acquires Troy Forming Concrete

Noverra (Noverra Group of Companies) acquired Troy Forming Concrete, a Colorado-based concrete forming and foundation contractor, in a transaction that closed in summer 2018. The deal provided founder Troy Lynn with a phased transition and ongoing participation in future earnings while Noverra supported development of an internal successor (Noah Weiler) who later became President.

Pueblo Mechanical & Controls Acquires Niemeyer Brothers Plumbing

Huron Capital-backed Pueblo Mechanical & Controls (an ExecFactor platform) acquired Niemeyer Brothers Plumbing, a full-service commercial plumbing provider in the greater Phoenix area. The add-on expands Pueblo's service offering by adding plumbing as a new service line; financial terms were not disclosed and Niemeyer leadership will remain in place.

Virtusa Acquires BRIGHT

Virtusa Corporation has acquired BRIGHT (Bright Consulting), a leading ServiceNow and Splunk partner in EMEA, to strengthen its ServiceNow and Splunk capabilities and expand its presence in Europe. Financial terms were not disclosed; BRIGHT brings roughly 100 consultants (about 70 ServiceNow and 30 Splunk specialists) and expertise in digitalization, SecOps, observability, and AI/ML analytics.

Ballard & Brown Acquires Sunrise Mechanical; Columbia Pacific Business Finance Provides $21M Loan

Independent sponsor Ballard & Brown acquired Sunrise Mechanical / Sunrise Service, a Henderson, Nevada-based residential HVAC installer and service provider. Columbia Pacific's Business Finance strategy provided a $21 million senior secured term loan to support the acquisition; Sunrise has operated for 30 years and employs more than 150 people.
