McGrath RentCorp (Nasdaq: MGRC) acquired the assets of Dixie Temporary Storage, a regional provider of portable storage solutions in South Carolina, adding ~800 assets and a new branch to its portable storage operations. WillScot Mobile Mini Holdings Corp. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire McGrath RentCorp in a transaction valuing McGrath at an enterprise value of $3.8 billion. The deal combines two complementary temporary- and permanent-space solutions and rental platforms, creating a larger North American leader with expanded geographic coverage, projected synergies, and expected accretion to earnings within 12 months of closing.

Concurrently, McGrath sold Adler Tank Rentals to Ironclad Environmental Solutions (a Kinderhook portfolio company) for $265 million as part of a simultaneous transaction sequence that realigned assets between the parties.
