Kamps, Inc., a national pallet solutions provider, has acquired Denver-based L&R Pallet Service, Inc. SDR Ventures served as exclusive sell-side advisor and the sellers were James and Carine Ruder. The acquisition expands Kamps' footprint in the Colorado market and brings L&R's pallet manufacturing and recycling capabilities into Kamps' national network.

Kamps, Inc. completed two acquisitions in Florida, acquiring the Jacksonville location from Pallet Express, Inc. on August 15 and acquiring All‑State Pallets Company LLC (Orlando) on August 29. The deals add 65 employees, 103 trailers and expand Kamps' Southeast footprint, strengthening its pallet recycling, new pallet manufacturing, and total pallet management capabilities in Florida.

Tampa-based Katz Acquisition Corporation LLC (an affiliate of Katz Capital) acquired 100% of the outstanding stock of Camp Grove Bancorp, Inc., the parent company of Camp Grove State Bank, closing on April 9, 2021 after receiving regulatory approvals. The transaction preserves local leadership—Dennis Hickey will serve as Market President and Christopher P. Barton was named CEO—as Katz brings expanded commercial banking technologies and services to Central Illinois.
