Hansae Co. Ltd., a South Korean global fashion ODM, has acquired US textile manufacturer Texollini to vertically integrate its supply chain and strengthen synthetic-fiber production capabilities. The acquisition of the Long Beach, California factory — equipped with automated knitting, dyeing and printing lines — positions Hansae to expand high-value product lines (like activewear) and capitalize on nearshoring trends in Central America and the U.S. market.

Schumacher will preserve Tillett’s bespoke hand-printing legacy, wind down operations in Sheffield, Massachusetts, print wallpapers at its Paramount Prints facility in New Jersey, and plans to launch new collections in 2026 with Katarina Ostbye named president of Tillett.

South Korean private equity firm Hahn & Co. has completed the acquisition of SKC Ltd.'s industrial polyester (PET) film business for 1.6 trillion won (about $1.2 billion). The divestiture reflects SK Group's shift toward eco-friendly businesses while Hahn & Co. aims to expand the unit's presence in electronics, semiconductors and automotive end markets and raise its global market share.

South Korea’s private equity firm Hahn & Co. and Hana Financial Group have agreed to buy a 100% stake in H-Line Shipping for 1.8 trillion won (~$1.45bn). The deal is structured as a leveraged buyout via a project fund (about 45% financed with debt) and is intended to move the shipping company’s ownership to long-term investors while supporting consolidation and growth in Hahn & Co.’s shipping platform.
