S&S Activewear, a leading North American apparel wholesaler based in Bolingbrook, Illinois, has acquired TSF Sportswear, a multi-line wearables distributor with operations in Florida, Puerto Rico, Alabama and Texas. The deal expands S&S's footprint in the Southern U.S., adds TSF's warehouse locations and customer relationships, and gives TSF access to S&S's broader brand assortment and inventory network.

Hansae Co. Ltd. Acquires Texollini

Hansae Co. Ltd., a South Korean global fashion ODM, has acquired US textile manufacturer Texollini to vertically integrate its supply chain and strengthen synthetic-fiber production capabilities. The acquisition of the Long Beach, California factory — equipped with automated knitting, dyeing and printing lines — positions Hansae to expand high-value product lines (like activewear) and capitalize on nearshoring trends in Central America and the U.S. market.

Sumitomo Corporation Acquires Saconix LLC

Sumitomo Corporation, through Sumitomo Corporation of Americas, has completed the acquisition of Saconix LLC from Copperbeck Energy Partners, making Saconix a wholly owned subsidiary of the Sumitomo Corporation Group. The deal adds sulfuric acid storage tanks and transloading facilities in the U.S. West and Gulf Coast, expanding Sumitomo's North American logistics capacity and boosting its global sulfuric acid trading and storage footprint.

Harbour Group Acquires Texcel (Trelltex, Inc.)

(d/b/a Texcel), a Houston-based supplier of industrial and hydraulic hoses, fittings and fluid sealing products, to join its specialty-flow components platform. Texcel will operate alongside Harbour's existing platform companies (Stainless Hose Fittings, Omega One and AMFM) to expand product offering and national distribution capabilities; terms were not disclosed.

MSC Industrial Supply Co. Acquires ApTex and Premier Tool Grinding

MSC Industrial Supply Co. acquired ApTex, Inc. (Waukesha, Wisconsin) and Premier Tool Grinding, Inc. (Goodyear, Arizona); both businesses will continue to operate under their current names as MSC companies. The two targets had combined 2023 revenues of slightly over $20 million and 58 associates; MSC said the acquisitions will be net neutral to fiscal 2024 net income and will expand MSC’s regional presence and specialty tooling/regrinding capabilities.

VLS Environmental Solutions Acquires Samex Environmental

The deal is an add‑on to VLS (a portfolio company of I Squared Capital) and expands the combined company’s hazardous and non‑hazardous waste management service offerings and sustainability capabilities.
