Resideo Technologies agreed to acquire Snap One Holdings for $10.75 per share in cash, valuing the transaction at approximately $1.4 billion including net debt. Snap One will integrate into Resideo's ADI Global Distribution business to expand Resideo's smart-living product portfolio, proprietary offerings and distribution capabilities; the deal is financed in part by a $500 million perpetual convertible preferred equity investment from Clayton, Dubilier & Rice.

SnapAV Acquires Control4 for Approximately $680M

SnapAV agreed to acquire Control4 in an all-cash transaction valuing Control4 at approximately $680 million ($23.91 per share). Hellman & Friedman, SnapAV's majority shareholder, will invest additional equity and be the majority shareholder of the combined company; the deal was expected to close in the second half of 2019.

SCR, Inc. Acquires MN Controls Solutions

The acquisition will add Honeywell partnerships and augment SCR's building automation capabilities across Minnesota and the upper Midwest.

Snappr Acquires Eversnap

The deal brings nearly one million Eversnap users and Eversnap’s professional photography services into the Snappr platform; Snappr will continue to host Eversnap photos and integrate customers into its network.

SmartSights Acquires Sage Clarity

SmartSights, a Capstreet-backed provider of operational intelligence software, has acquired Chicago-based Sage Clarity, a maker of manufacturing activity data and analytics applications. The add-on deal (terms not disclosed) will integrate Sage Clarity's real-time machine and operational analytics into the SmartSights platform to expand detection, issue management and root-cause analysis capabilities for manufacturers.

First Insight Acquires SnapRetail to Expand Retail Marketing Capabilities

First Insight, Inc. has acquired SnapRetail, a Pittsburgh-based digital marketing SaaS platform that helps independent retailers boost in-store traffic and online sales. The acquisition expands First Insight’s retail-focused Voice of the Customer platform by adding marketing automation and customer engagement capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed.
