GALLS has acquired Phoenix Safety Outfitters, a regional provider of fire PPE, uniforms, and related services based in Springfield, Ohio. The acquisition expands GALLS' footprint and service capabilities for fire departments and first responders, bringing Phoenix's distribution center, SCBA service center and mobile service fleet into GALLS' platform.

Protective Industrial Products, Inc. (PIP), headquartered in Latham, New York, has acquired the assets of the Boss Glove and Safety business from Boss Manufacturing Company of Kewanee, Illinois. PIP will integrate Boss's consumer glove and safety product lines into its West Chester retail division and expects the acquisition to expand its product portfolio and strengthen distribution to dealers, retailers and distributors.

The acquisition brings Topps' fire-resistant safety brand into Pinnacle's product portfolio and expands Pinnacle's distribution into oil & gas, utility and wildland firefighting end markets; terms were not disclosed.
