Flotilla Partners Acquires Four Florida Water Treatment Companies

The add-ons expand Flotilla's footprint and density across Florida—particularly central, southern and southwest regions—as part of a buy-and-build strategy to become a leading water treatment services platform in the Southeast.

Ground/Water Treatment & Technology, LLC (GWTT), an Ember-backed environmental services platform headquartered in Wharton, New Jersey, has acquired Carbonworks USA, LLC, an Atlantic Beach, Florida provider of water treatment equipment, filtration media and related services. The acquisition gives GWTT an immediate presence in Florida to support southeastern U.S. expansion, strengthens its Mid‑Atlantic footprint via Carbonworks' Virginia operations, and expands GWTT's ability to deliver larger and more complex water treatment and remediation projects.

The Kiely Family of Companies Acquires Industrial Treatment Technologies, Inc.

The Kiely Family of Companies has acquired Industrial Treatment Technologies, Inc. (ITT), a Fernandina Beach, Florida–based provider of wastewater treatment design, construction and operations services; the transaction closed April 18, 2022. The acquisition expands Kiely’s water resources capabilities by adding ITT’s engineering, sludge dewatering and plant operations expertise to Kiely’s civil, development and equipment business units.

Veolia Acquires CDPQ's 30% Stake in Water Technologies and Solutions (WTS)

Veolia has agreed to purchase CDPQ’s remaining 30% stake in its subsidiary Water Technologies and Solutions (WTS) for $1.75 billion, giving Veolia full ownership. The move is intended to simplify the Group structure, unlock ~€90m of run-rate cost synergies by 2027, and accelerate value creation and growth in water technologies, particularly in priority markets such as the United States, semiconductors and pharmaceuticals.
