CCL Industries Acquires Plum Paper LLC

CCL Industries Inc. acquired Plum Paper LLC, a privately owned direct-to-consumer ecommerce business based in Oceanside, California, in an all-cash, debt-free transaction valued at approximately $26.0 million. The bolt-on purchase expands Avery's portfolio of web-to-print technologies and personalized stationery products, adding a company with forecasted 2021 sales of about $11.5 million and a high EBITDA margin.

TriMech Acquires Solid Solutions Group

TriMech, a portfolio company of Sentinel Capital Partners, has acquired Solid Solutions Group (SSG), the leading SOLIDWORKS reseller and 3D CAD/CAM services provider in the United Kingdom and Ireland, from LDC. The deal expands TriMech's global engineering design platform, adds SSG’s ~23 UK/Ireland offices and 250+ employees, and is supported by follow-on equity from Sentinel; Solid Solutions’ CEO Alan Sampson will become President of TriMech’s UK & European business.

PTC Acquires SaaS PLM Provider Arena Solutions

The acquisition expands PTC’s SaaS product development portfolio—combining Arena’s PLM and quality management capabilities with PTC’s CAD and PLM offerings—to deliver a complete CAD + PLM SaaS solution and accelerate PTC’s leadership in industrial SaaS.
