International Designs Group LLC (IDG), a portfolio company of Mill Point Capital, has acquired Construction Resources Holdings LLC, a leading distributor of design-oriented surfaces, specialty architectural products and appliances in the Southeastern United States. The deal adds CR's ~30-location showroom, distribution and fabrication network based in the Atlanta area to the IDG platform to expand geographic coverage and broaden the platform's product offerings.

The Home Depot agreed to acquire HD Supply Holdings, Inc. in a cash tender offer valuing the business at approximately $8 billion, with the deal expected to close in late 2020. The acquisition expands The Home Depot's capabilities and distribution footprint in the maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) market—particularly in multifamily and hospitality end markets—and is expected to be accretive to earnings.

Lowe's Companies, Inc. has agreed to acquire Artisan Design Group (ADG) for $1.325 billion in cash, expanding Lowe's Pro offering into a new distribution channel for interior surface finishes. ADG, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, operates 132 facilities, coordinates installation through over 3,200 personnel and reported approximately $1.8 billion in fiscal 2024 revenue; the deal was previously owned by The Sterling Group and is expected to close in Q2 2025.

Blackstone Acquires International Data Group (IDG) for $1.3B

(IDG) from Oriental Rainbow, LLC (a China Oceanwide subsidiary) for an enterprise value of $1.3 billion. IDG — which includes IDC and IDG Communications — provides market intelligence, data and technology-focused media; Blackstone said it will partner with IDG to expand product offerings and drive technology innovation.

The add-on expands IDG's geographic footprint and product portfolio by bringing together Trajus’ brands (European Granite & Marble and Marva Marble) with IDG’s existing slab and tile distribution and showroom network.
