Amentum Holdings LLC agreed to acquire DynCorp International in a definitive transaction announced Sept. 24, 2020, creating one of the largest providers of mission-critical government support services with roughly $6 billion in combined revenue. The deal, which closed Nov. 23, 2020, expands Amentum's capabilities and market access in aviation support, contractor logistics, intelligence solutions and training, and combines the companies' workforces to about 34,000 employees globally.

Abrigo Acquires DiCOM Software

Abrigo, a provider of compliance, credit risk, and lending solutions, has acquired DiCOM Software, a provider of automated credit risk management and loan review software based in Orlando, Florida. The deal is an add-on to Abrigo's growing software portfolio (backed by The Carlyle Group and Accel-KKR) to expand its credit risk, loan review, and portfolio analysis capabilities for financial institutions.

DMI Acquires The Ambit Group

ARCHIMED-backed BOMI Group Completes Six Add-on Acquisitions

Between May 2020 and January 2021, ARCHIMED-backed BOMI Group completed six buy-and-build acquisitions—Logifarma, Consigliere, Autotransporti Gigliotti & Bergamin, RH Logistics (UK), Deco Pharma (Spain) and Florence Shipping—adding roughly 20% to BOMI's annual revenues. The deals expand BOMI's geographic footprint into the UK and Iberia and broaden its healthcare logistics capabilities (including specialist air freight and clinical-trial sample handling).

Canopy Aerospace & Defense Acquires Tods Technology

Canopy Aerospace & Defense, a portfolio company of Trive Capital, has acquired Tods Technology Ltd., a Portland, Dorset-based designer and manufacturer of advanced composite structures and acoustic materials for the maritime defense sector. The add-on acquisition expands Canopy A&D's technical capabilities in sonar domes and acoustic enclosures, strengthens transatlantic supply-chain resilience, and will see Tods operate under the Canopy A&D umbrella with further investment in infrastructure and people.

Dover Corporation Acquires Engineered Controls International (RegO) and Acme Cryogenics

Dover Corporation has agreed to acquire Engineered Controls International, LLC (RegO) from Windjammer Capital for $631 million in cash and has completed the acquisition of Acme Cryogenics, Inc. for $295 million in cash. Both businesses will join Dover's OPW Global operating unit within its Fueling Solutions segment to expand Dover's capabilities in cryogenic, LNG, LPG and other clean-fuel applications.
