Jacobs completed the spin-off of its Critical Mission Solutions and Cyber & Intelligence government services businesses and merged them with Amentum Parent Holdings LLC to form independent, publicly traded Amentum Holdings, Inc. Amentum began trading on the NYSE as AMTM and the transaction leaves Jacobs focused on its remaining data and next-generation digital technologies businesses while creating a scaled government services company.

Amentum Acquires PAE Incorporated

Amentum has completed its all-cash acquisition of PAE Incorporated for approximately $1.9 billion (including assumed debt and fees), combining the two government services contractors to create a more diversified provider with over $9 billion of combined revenue. The deal expands Amentum's capabilities in intelligence, cyber, synthetic training, sensor-based technologies, space operations, environmental solutions, and mission support, and brings PAE's ~20,000 employees into Amentum's organization.

American Securities and Lindsay Goldberg Acquire AECOM Management Services to Form Amentum

Affiliates of private equity firms American Securities and Lindsay Goldberg agreed to acquire the Management Services business from AECOM and launched the standalone government services company Amentum. Headquartered in Germantown, Maryland, the business serves the U.S. federal government and allied governments across defense, intelligence, energy and environmental remediation, and employs more than 20,000 people globally.

Lockheed Martin Acquires Amentum's Rapid Solutions Portfolio

Aretum Acquires Veterans Engineering to Expand Federal IT, Cyber, and Cloud Capabilities

Aretum has acquired Veterans Engineering, a Rockville, Maryland-based federal technology solutions provider, to strengthen Aretum's cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation offerings across defense, intelligence, and civilian agencies. The transaction was backed by Renovus Capital Partners and will have Veterans Engineering operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Aretum as part of the firm's continued platform growth and capability expansion.
