PAE Acquires Metis Solutions Corporation for $92M

PAE (NASDAQ: PAE) will acquire Metis Solutions Corporation for approximately $92 million in cash, expanding PAE's intelligence analysis, training and program management capabilities for intelligence and defense customers. Metis, headquartered in Arlington, Virginia with more than 450 employees, brings additional contract vehicles and is expected to be accretive to PAE's financial metrics.

Amentum Holdings LLC Acquires DynCorp International

Amentum Holdings LLC agreed to acquire DynCorp International in a definitive transaction announced Sept. 24, 2020, creating one of the largest providers of mission-critical government support services with roughly $6 billion in combined revenue. The deal, which closed Nov. 23, 2020, expands Amentum's capabilities and market access in aviation support, contractor logistics, intelligence solutions and training, and combines the companies' workforces to about 34,000 employees globally.

Headquartered in Germantown, Maryland, the business serves the U.S. federal government and allied governments across defense, intelligence, energy and environmental remediation, and employs more than 20,000 people globally.

Gores Holdings III Completes Acquisition of PAE; Combined Company Renamed PAE Incorporated

Gores Holdings III, a SPAC sponsored by The Gores Group, completed its acquisition of Platinum Equity portfolio company PAE and the combined company was renamed PAE Incorporated and began trading on Nasdaq under PAE and PAEWW. The transaction valued PAE at an approximate $1.55 billion enterprise value and was funded with Gores Holdings III trust cash plus a $220 million private placement led by Alec Gores, with Platinum Equity affiliates retaining a meaningful stake in the new public company.

Amentum Merges with Jacobs' Critical Mission Solutions and Cyber & Intelligence Businesses

Lockheed Martin Acquires Amentum's Rapid Solutions Portfolio

Lockheed Martin has completed its acquisition of Amentum’s Rapid Solutions product business, adding radar and payload capabilities to Lockheed Martin Space. Amentum divested the business for $360 million, and the Rapid Solutions team will be integrated into Lockheed Martin Space to strengthen ISR and national security mission capabilities.
