ARETUM, a Renovus Capital Partners-backed government contracting platform based in Bethesda, Maryland, has acquired Artemis Consulting, Inc., a McLean, Virginia-based prime contractor that provides IT and management services to federal agencies. The acquisition is an add-on to expand ARETUM's cloud enablement, agile/DevOps, and legacy modernization capabilities for Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and other federal clients.

Renovus Capital Partners' Aretum Acquires Miracle Systems

Renovus Capital Partners announced the formation of Aretum, LLC — a new government services platform — and Aretum has acquired Arlington, VA-based Miracle Systems, LLC. Miracle joins Renovus portfolio company Panum Telecom within Aretum to create a larger mid-tier provider of management consulting, mission support and technology solutions to DoD, DHS and federal civilian agencies.

Amentum Acquires PAE Incorporated

Amentum has completed its all-cash acquisition of PAE Incorporated for approximately $1.9 billion (including assumed debt and fees), combining the two government services contractors to create a more diversified provider with over $9 billion of combined revenue. The deal expands Amentum's capabilities in intelligence, cyber, synthetic training, sensor-based technologies, space operations, environmental solutions, and mission support, and brings PAE's ~20,000 employees into Amentum's organization.

Vectrus Acquires Zenetex

Vectrus, Inc. agreed to acquire Zenetex for approximately $112 million (net of $11 million of expected tax benefits) to accelerate its converged infrastructure strategy and broaden capabilities in engineering, logistics, MRO, and security for defense and intelligence clients. The acquisition expands Vectrus' access to Intelligence Community and foreign military customers; Zenetex is headquartered in Herndon, Virginia and had roughly $200M in revenue with a backlog of over $700M.
