Renovus Capital Partners announced the formation of Aretum, LLC — a new government services platform — and Aretum has acquired Arlington, VA-based Miracle Systems, LLC. Miracle joins Renovus portfolio company Panum Telecom within Aretum to create a larger mid-tier provider of management consulting, mission support and technology solutions to DoD, DHS and federal civilian agencies.

Aretum has acquired Veterans Engineering, a Rockville, Maryland-based federal technology solutions provider, to strengthen Aretum's cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation offerings across defense, intelligence, and civilian agencies. The transaction was backed by Renovus Capital Partners and will have Veterans Engineering operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Aretum as part of the firm's continued platform growth and capability expansion.

Barings Acquires Artemis Real Estate Partners

Xalles Holdings Acquires Artemis Defense Technologies

(OTC: XALL) has acquired Artemis Defense Technologies UK Ltd., a developer of uncrewed (unmanned) systems and autonomous defense technologies, which will become the first subsidiary in Xalles' newly created Security business group. The transaction brings Artemis' AI-enabled autonomy, rapid-prototyping and consulting capabilities into Xalles as the company pursues expansion into U.S. defense initiatives and international defense programs.

Artemis, a Boston-based private equity firm, has acquired R.M. Lucas, a Chicago-headquartered manufacturer of coatings, sealants, and adhesives for roof repair and restoration. Artemis intends to operate R.M. Lucas as an independent company and leverage it within its Specialty Chemicals and Advanced Materials portfolio to grow the roof repair and restoration coatings business.
