TRC Companies Inc. has acquired Sacramento-based Blue Oak Energy, a solar and energy storage engineering firm, to expand TRC’s renewable energy and Climate Solutions capabilities. Blue Oak’s team has delivered over 6 GW of solar projects (and supported over 12 GW through development) and is licensed in 30+ states, broadening TRC’s utility- and commercial-scale PV and storage engineering capacity.

TotalEnergies Acquires VSB Group, SN Power and Big Sky Solar

TotalEnergies has closed three international renewables acquisitions, buying European wind and solar developer VSB Group, hydropower developer SN Power and the Big Sky Solar project in Alberta. The deals expand TotalEnergies' integrated electricity portfolio across Germany, Africa and Canada, adding operating capacity and a large development pipeline to its renewables business.

ABM Acquires RavenVolt to Expand Microgrid and Energy Solutions

ABM has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire RavenVolt, Inc., a Georgia-based provider of turn-key microgrid systems, for $170 million in cash at closing plus up to $280 million in post-closing earn-outs (maximum total purchase price of $450 million). The acquisition expands ABM's Technical Solutions and eMobility capabilities, adds microgrid design, installation and branded generator/switchgear product offerings, and is expected to close in ABM's fourth fiscal quarter of 2022 subject to HSR clearance.

ReneSola Power Acquires Emeren Limited

ReneSola Ltd (ReneSola Power) completed an all-cash acquisition of Emeren Limited, a United Kingdom-based developer of utility-scale solar and battery storage projects, on October 10, 2022. The deal adds Emeren’s ~2.5 GW development pipeline and development expertise in Italy and other European markets to ReneSola’s European growth strategy.

Applied Value Group Acquires ES Solar

Raven SR Acquires Benicia Fabrication & Machine

Raven SR Inc., a Wyoming-based waste-to-renewable-fuels company, has acquired Benicia Fabrication & Machine Inc. (BFM), a San Francisco Bay Area heavy fabrication shop. The acquisition makes BFM a wholly owned subsidiary of Raven SR to secure fabrication of proprietary reactors and expand Raven SR's manufacturing capabilities for renewable hydrogen and synthetic fuels while allowing BFM to enter the green energy market.
