Databricks announced it will acquire San Francisco-based Okera, a startup that builds no-code, AI-powered data governance tools for managing sensitive and personally identifiable data. Financial terms were not disclosed; the deal is expected to close later this month. Okera was last valued at $100 million in 2021 and had raised nearly $40 million, the company confirmed.
