Porch Group Acquires American Home Protect and Signs Agreement to Acquire CSE Insurance

Porch Group announced the acquisition of American Home Protect (AHP), a Plano, Texas-based home warranty provider, and executed a definitive agreement to acquire CSE Insurance from Covéa, expanding Porch's InsurTech capabilities into California and adding auto and umbrella products. The transactions add approximately $40 million of annualized recurring revenue and broaden Porch's product set to include home warranties and additional insurance lines.

Reynolds and Reynolds Acquires American Guardian Warranty Services (AGWS)

The Reynolds and Reynolds Company has agreed to acquire American Guardian Warranty Services (AGWS), a provider of vehicle service contracts, limited warranties and F&I administration services. The acquisition will integrate AGWS's warranty and aftermarket administration capabilities into Reynolds' dealership software and retailing tools to streamline F&I product sales and contract booking.

Frontdoor, Inc. Acquires 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty for $585 Million

Frontdoor, Inc. announced it will acquire 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty in an all-cash transaction valued at $585 million, expected to close in Q4 2024 pending regulatory approvals. The acquisition expands Frontdoor’s offerings into new-home structural warranties, adds approximately 292,000 customers and ~$198 million of 2023 revenue, and is expected to create cross-selling opportunities and operational synergies.
