Danish software company EG A/S acquired Norwegian construction-software provider Holte to strengthen and expand EG's construction industry product portfolio across Scandinavia. Holte, a market leader in Norway with ~135 employees, will continue to be led by CEO Aleksander Bjaaland and be integrated into EG's Construction unit to accelerate digitalization of the construction process.

Francisco Partners Acquires EG from Axcel for DKK 3.7 billion

The deal (approved May 23, 2019) positions Francisco Partners to grow EG organically and via further bolt-on acquisitions while supporting operational improvement and expansion across the Nordics.

EG Acquires Lindbak Retail Systems AS

Danish software company EG has acquired Norwegian retail software firm Lindbak Retail Systems AS, marking EG's first acquisition under the ownership of Francisco Partners. Lindbak will operate as an independent business area within EG, with its management and ~130 employees transferring to EG to strengthen EG's retail software capabilities across Scandinavia.

Danish software vendor EG A/S has completed the acquisition of PatientSky SaaS Norway AS and PatientSky App AS (including Hove Medical Systems, Infodoc, PatientSky Clinic and PatientSky App) from PatientSky Group AS. The transaction closed on 20 April 2023 after competition authority approval; PatientSky Group divested its SaaS and App business to EG as part of a NOK ~850–900 million transaction announced in related advisory materials.

Energy Services Group Acquires Ascent Software Assets from Alpine Energy Systems

Energy Services Group (ESG) expanded its commercial relationship with Nordic Energy Services and acquired the software assets of Alpine Energy Systems, including the Ascent customer and broker portal. The assets add SaaS capabilities — billing, data management, contact-center support, sales management and analytics — to ESG's retail energy platform; terms were not disclosed.

Sval Energi Acquires Spirit Energy Norway

Sval Energi AS has completed the acquisition of Spirit Energy Norway for USD 1,026 million, with the transaction closing on May 31 and a commercial effective date of January 1, 2021. The deal transfers 45 licences (6 operated), including seven producing fields (two operated), and expands Sval Energi's producing asset base and development/exploration opportunities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
