Freestone Partners completed an acquisition of the assets of Formwork Services and Supply in partnership with management and investor GP Capital Partners. GP Capital Partners provided $10.9 million of financing (approximately $8.0M senior secured term debt and $2.9M common equity) and Texas Capital Bank provided a revolving credit facility to support working capital as Formwork pursues its next phase of growth.

Fourshore Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Genesis Capital Finance

Fourshore Partners, a Miami-based private equity firm, has acquired a majority stake in Genesis Capital Finance, a specialty lender that provides commercial truck loans to independent owner-operators. The investment is intended to fuel growth at Genesis and support its fast, personalized financing capabilities for owner-operators and small fleets; financial terms were not disclosed.

Deep Isolation Acquires Freestone Environmental Services

Deep Isolation, a Berkeley-based developer of deep-borehole nuclear waste storage and disposal technology, has acquired Freestone Environmental Services, a Richland, Washington environmental and water-resources consulting firm. The acquisition brings Freestone's team of roughly 25 scientists and engineers and strengthens Deep Isolation's environmental investigation, regulatory planning, and remediation capabilities—particularly experience on the U.S. Department of Energy's Hanford project.

Bluespring Wealth Partners Acquires Shelton Financial Group

AssuredPartners, Inc. has acquired Sterling Insurance Group, Inc., a Sterling Heights, Michigan-based insurance agency. The 96-person agency, which generates about $20 million in annualized revenue and offers commercial, employee benefits and personal lines, will continue operating under its existing leadership as part of AssuredPartners' nationwide broker network.
