WSP Global Inc. has agreed to acquire Power Engineers, Incorporated (POWER) for US$1,780 million, a deal that strengthens WSP's Power & Energy capabilities and accelerates its participation in the energy transition. POWER, an employee-owned U.S. engineering and environmental consulting firm based in Hailey, Idaho, has ~4,000 employees and 50 offices across North America; the acquisition is expected to deliver cost synergies and cross-selling opportunities.
