Emmis Communications Corporation acquired the sound masking business of Lencore Acoustics Corporation, closing the deal on March 10, 2020. The Long Island–based sound masking unit (33 employees) will remain in New York and become part of Emmis as the company looks to expand its commercial audio and workplace solutions offerings.
