Modern Pest Services Acquires Guardian Pest Control

Modern Pest Services, an Anticimex company, has acquired Guardian Pest Control, a Plainville, Connecticut-based pest and termite control business founded in 1997. The Aust Group represented owner Fred Markowich in the deal, which closed in December (terms undisclosed); Guardian operates primarily in central Connecticut with roughly 20 staff and serves residential and commercial clients.

EQT (via Baring Private Equity Asia Fund VIII) Acquires PropertyGuru Group

EQT Private Capital Asia, via Baring Private Equity Asia Fund VIII managed by EQT, has completed the acquisition of PropertyGuru Group Limited for USD 6.70 per share, valuing the company at approximately USD 1.1 billion. PropertyGuru, the Singapore-headquartered PropTech marketplace serving Southeast Asia, will be taken private to accelerate technology development, expand market reach, and improve operational efficiency under EQT's ownership.

EQT Infrastructure Acquires Majority Stake in Heritage Environmental Services

EQT Infrastructure VI has agreed to acquire a majority position in Heritage Environmental Services (HES) from The Heritage Group. HES, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, operates 37 regulated facilities in the U.S., employs roughly 1,600 people, and provides industrial and hazardous waste management, on‑site support, emergency response and sustainability services to more than 1,800 customers; EQT says it will support HES's growth, digitalization and operational improvements.
