Benford Capital Partners and its Industrial QC platform have acquired Avalon Vision Solutions, a Lithia Springs, Georgia-based maker of machine vision quality-control systems (including the MoldWatcher product). The deal is an add-on to the Industrial QC platform and expands its capabilities into the plastics and injection-molding/die-casting end markets.

Spectris plc Acquires MicroStrain Sensing Systems Business

Spectris plc has signed a purchase agreement to acquire MicroStrain Sensing Systems Business for $37.6 million. MicroStrain, based in Williston, Vermont, reported unaudited revenue of $15.4 million for the year ended June 2022 and will be integrated into Spectris Dynamics to strengthen Spectris' sensor offering and North American presence; the deal is expected to close in the third quarter subject to regulatory approval.

C&W will be integrated into TQC Sheen B.V. to expand TQC Sheen’s paint, coatings and surface-analysis product portfolio and to leverage Industrial Physics’ global sales and service network.

KKR Acquires Industrial Physics from Union Park Capital

Financial terms were not disclosed.
