Legrand has acquired Kratos Industries, a Colorado-based manufacturer of low-voltage switchboards, medium-voltage switchgear and integrated power systems, to strengthen its critical power offerings for the data center market. In parallel, Legrand participated in Accelsius' Series B to deepen capabilities in two-phase, direct-to-chip liquid cooling for high-density AI data centers.

Controlled Environment Systems, LLC (CES) acquired Coldroom Systems, Inc. (CRS), a regional provider of thermal envelope and low-temperature construction solutions, as CES's third acquisition of 2021. The deal expands CES's Structures division by adding CRS's project management, insulated metal panel (IMP) installation expertise and underfloor heating capabilities and strengthens CES's foothold in the U.S. Southeast.

ZPE Systems will join Legrand's Data, Power and Control (DPC) Division as a business unit to broaden Legrand's data center and edge management capabilities and address growing demand driven by AI and edge computing.
