Iron Mountain Acquires Regency Technologies

Iron Mountain completed the acquisition of Regency Technologies, a U.S. IT asset disposition (ITAD) and electronics recycling provider, for an initial purchase price of $200 million (approximately $125 million at close, remainder due in 2025) plus a potential performance-based earn-out. The deal expands Iron Mountain’s asset lifecycle management platform with eight additional U.S. locations and strengthens its IT asset remarketing and recycling capabilities, adding a business with trailing four-quarter revenues in excess of $100 million.

Iron Mountain Acquires ITRenew from ZMC

Iron Mountain Incorporated has agreed to acquire ITRenew Inc., a leading IT asset disposition and data center lifecycle management provider, from private equity owner ZMC. The deal closed with Iron Mountain purchasing 80% of ITRenew for approximately $725 million in cash (with the remaining 20% to be acquired within three years for a minimum enterprise value of $925 million), positioning ITRenew as Iron Mountain's platform for Global IT Asset Lifecycle Management and expanding the company's secure ITAD, decommissioning and sustainability capabilities for hyperscale and enterprise customers.

Sage Sustainable Electronics Acquires Cascade Asset Management

Columbus-based Sage Sustainable Electronics, a portfolio company backed by Closed Loop Partners' buyout private equity group, has acquired Madison-based IT asset disposition (ITAD) provider Cascade Asset Management. The bolt-on acquisition expands Sage's national footprint, adds demanufacturing and refurbishment capabilities, and strengthens its position as a leading sustainable ITAD platform in the United States.

SER Capital Partners' Paladin EnviroTech Acquires TechSmart International and Integrated Recycling Technologies

SER Capital Partners formed Paladin EnviroTech, a PE-backed platform focused on e-waste recycling and IT Asset Disposition (ITAD), and immediately expanded the platform by acquiring Florida-based TechSmart International (TSI) and Minnesota-based Integrated Recycling Technologies (IRT). South Korea's Daeheung M&T is partnering with Paladin and has made a minority investment to provide technical expertise and global supply chain connections.

Tide Rock Acquires SIPI Asset Recovery (SIPI ITAD) and Integrates into Full Circle Electronics

San Diego-based private equity firm Tide Rock acquired the IT asset disposition (ITAD) assets of SIPI Asset Recovery (a division of Sipi Metals Corp.) and will fold those U.S. and Latin American operations into its portfolio company Full Circle Electronics. The add-on expands Full Circle's footprint to 11 facilities across the Americas (including new locations in Northern California, Illinois, Texas, Mexico and Colombia), roughly doubles headcount to nearly 400 employees, and strengthens its electronics recycling and reuse capabilities for enterprise customers.

Cyber Advisors Acquires Wasatch I.T.

Cyber Advisors, a Twin Cities-based managed IT and cybersecurity provider, has acquired Wasatch I.T., a Salt Lake City-based managed services firm. The deal expands Cyber Advisors' geographic footprint into the Western United States and strengthens its managed IT and cybersecurity capabilities while Wasatch co-owners take an ownership stake in Cyber Advisors.
