PSC Group Acquires Bayport Rail Terminal LLC

PSC Group, a portfolio company of Aurora Capital Partners, has acquired Bayport Rail Terminal LLC (BRT), a 115-acre rail, truck and container terminal serving the chemical industry on the Bayport Loop and near the Port of Houston, from US Development Group. The acquisition expands PSC's last-mile logistics, railcar repair/cleaning and transloading capabilities in one of North America's largest chemical and plastics hubs.

SMG Industries Acquires Barnhart Transportation Suite

Houston-based SMG Industries (SMGI) has acquired the Barnhart Transportation suite of businesses — including Barnhart Transportation, Barnhart Fleet Maintenance, Lake Shore Logistics, Lake Shore Global Solutions, Legend Equipment Leasing and Route 20 Tank Wash — in a transaction valued at roughly $53.3 million. The deal, structured with cash, stock options and a promissory note, brings a diversified set of trucking, LTL, intermodal, fleet maintenance and tank-wash capabilities into SMGI and is expected to materially increase the combined company's revenue and cross-selling opportunities.

Harvestone Group Acquires Gateway Terminals LLC

Harvestone Group has acquired Gateway Terminals LLC, a bulk liquid terminal complex in Sauget, Illinois with 400,000 barrels of tank capacity and multimodal truck, rail, and barge capabilities. The purchase expands Harvestone’s marketing, logistics and trading platform and strengthens its position in key biofuels and commodity supply chains.

Zenith Energy Acquires Bulk Terminal Storage from Guttman Realty

Zenith Energy Terminals Holdings LLC has completed the acquisition of the assets of Bulk Terminal Storage from Guttman Realty, adding three storage terminals in Aurora, Ohio; Belle Vernon, Pennsylvania; and Star City, West Virginia with 560,000 barrels of aggregate capacity. The deal expands Zenith’s Midwest and Marcellus/Utica footprint and strengthens its ability to store conventional fuels and alternative fuels including renewable diesel, biofuel and ethanol.

Harbour Group Acquires SHF, Inc.

Harbour Group has acquired SHF, Inc., a Pasadena, Texas-based distributor and manufacturer of stainless adaptors, fluid power fittings, instrumentation fittings, and valves, in an asset transaction announced Feb. 6, 2020. Terms were not disclosed; SHF founder Michael Chapman will remain as president. Harbour Group said it will use its operational expertise to accelerate SHF's growth in current and new markets.

American Storage & Logistics (BMH Equipment) Acquires Binghamton Material Handling and Granite Industrial

Michigan-based American Storage & Logistics (rebranding to BMH Equipment LLC) has acquired Binghamton Material Handling and Granite Industrial to expand its product lines, service capabilities, and regional reach across the Northeastern United States. The acquirer plans to rebrand the businesses under the BMH Equipment umbrella and consolidate inventory into a single e-commerce platform to speed delivery and unify offerings.
