Hivelocity Acquires Heficed

Hivelocity, a Tampa-based IaaS and bare metal cloud provider, has acquired UK-based network infrastructure and cloud provider Heficed, folding Heficed's customers, select staff and nine data center locations into the Hivelocity brand. The deal expands Hivelocity's global data center footprint — adding locations in Brazil, South Africa and Nigeria — and brings new product and VPS hosting capabilities into Hivelocity's offering.
