Hunt Military Communities Acquires Atlantic Marine Corps Communities from Lendlease

Hunt Military Communities (HMC) has acquired Atlantic Marine Corps Communities (AMCC) from Lendlease, adding approximately 7,900 housing units serving about 24,000 residents across eight military installations. The purchase expands HMC’s military housing portfolio and deepens its partnership with the U.S. Marine Corps, with planned investments in property improvements and resident services.

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), a subsidiary of Marsh, has acquired Hunt Valley, Maryland-based HMS Insurance Associates, Inc.; terms were not disclosed. Founded in 1943, HMS — with more than 120 employees — provides property/casualty, surety, group captive and employee benefits services and will continue operating from its Hunt Valley office as part of MMA.

Hampton Roads Mechanical of Virginia (HRMVA), a Chesapeake-based commercial and industrial mechanical contractor, was acquired and rolled into MechanAir—a newly formed HVAC/mechanical platform sponsored by Delos Capital and Amalgam Capital. The deal closed September 2, 2021 and establishes HRMVA as a regional division of MechanAir as the partners pursue national consolidation of HVAC, mechanical and plumbing contractors.
