The CapStreet Group completed a majority recapitalization of Specter Instruments, LLC d/b/a WIN-911 in partnership with majority owner Robert Brooker, company shareholders and management. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, WIN-911 provides industrial monitoring, alerting and notification software used across thousands of facilities; CapStreet will work with management to expand distributor and systems integrator relationships, accelerate global product adoption, and grow the WIN-911 IoT solution.

SmartSights Acquires Sage Clarity

SmartSights, a Capstreet-backed provider of operational intelligence software, has acquired Chicago-based Sage Clarity, a maker of manufacturing activity data and analytics applications. The add-on deal (terms not disclosed) will integrate Sage Clarity's real-time machine and operational analytics into the SmartSights platform to expand detection, issue management and root-cause analysis capabilities for manufacturers.

Sensata Technologies Acquires SmartWitness

Sensata Technologies has acquired SmartWitness Holdings, Inc., a provider of video telematics hardware, software and analytics for commercial fleets, to expand Sensata Insights’ video-based data and safety capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed; the deal was expected to close in Q4 2021 and adds SmartWitness’s ~85 employees and more than 250,000 deployed devices to Sensata’s fleet solutions portfolio.

FivePoint Solutions Acquires Street Smart LLC

FivePoint Solutions, a Lexington, South Carolina-based public safety technology company, acquired Street Smart LLC, a real-time information and intelligence platform for law enforcement. The acquisition will integrate Street Smart's real-time crime mapping, situational bulletins and geo-coded collaboration tools into FivePoint's officer and school safety and data-integration platform to expand capabilities for law enforcement customers.

DaySmart Acquires Sawyer

DaySmart Software acquired Sawyer to expand its recreation-focused product suite, adding Sawyer’s scheduling, payments and marketplace capabilities for K–12 extracurricular activities. Sawyer, founded in 2015 in Brooklyn, provides a two-sided platform connecting parents with providers and will be integrated into DaySmart’s vertically-focused SMB software offerings; Leonis Partners served as Sawyer’s financial advisor.

Surgical Information Systems Acquires Surgical Notes from Capstreet

Surgical Information Systems (SIS), owned by Nordic Capital, acquired Surgical Notes from Capstreet (Capstreet IV) with the transaction completed on November 15, 2024. Surgical Notes, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, provides ASC-focused revenue cycle management, coding, transcription and document management services; Capstreet had owned the company since 2019 and helped scale the business via technology development and add-on acquisitions.
