The combined company will operate under the new brand SmartSights to expand operational intelligence, reporting and analytics capabilities for industrial customers.

Financial terms were not disclosed; the deal was expected to close in Q4 2021 and adds SmartWitness’s ~85 employees and more than 250,000 deployed devices to Sensata’s fleet solutions portfolio.
