Energy Transfer LP has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Crestwood Equity Partners LP in an all-equity transaction valued at approximately $7.1 billion (including assumed debt). The deal extends Energy Transfer’s midstream footprint deeper into the Williston, Delaware and Powder River basins and adds gathering, processing, storage and terminal assets that complement its existing NGL, crude and export capabilities.

Crestwood Completes Acquisition of Oasis Midstream

Enterprise Products Partners Acquires Piñon Midstream for $950M

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. completed the acquisition of Piñon Midstream, LLC, a Black Bay Energy Capital portfolio company, for $950 million in cash. Piñon provides sour natural gas gathering and treating services (including acid gas injection and carbon sequestration) in the eastern flank of the Delaware Basin, and the deal expands Enterprise's footprint and capabilities in that region.

Stakeholder Midstream Acquires Santa Fe Midstream Gas Gathering and Processing Assets

Stakeholder Midstream, LLC acquired gas gathering and processing assets from Santa Fe Midstream, LLC in Yoakum County, Texas, including the 30-30 Gas Treating and Processing Plant, gathering pipelines, residue and NGL lines, and a long-term acreage dedication. The deal increases combined gas processing capacity to ~85 MMcf/d, expands total gathering pipeline mileage to ~450 miles and acreage dedications to over 200,000 acres, complementing Stakeholder's existing Campo Viejo system and expanding its capabilities in the San Andres play.

Kinder Morgan Acquires NextEra Energy Partners' South Texas Assets (STX Midstream)

Kinder Morgan closed its previously announced $1.815 billion acquisition of NextEra Energy Partners' South Texas assets (STX Midstream), acquiring majority interests in multiple natural gas pipelines including a 90% interest in the NET Mexico pipeline and a 50% interest in Dos Caminos LLC. The assets expand Kinder Morgan's South Texas footprint and provide greater connectivity to LNG, Mexico export and Gulf Coast power and industrial markets.

Western Midstream Acquires Meritage Midstream for $885M

Western Midstream Partners, LP agreed to acquire Meritage Midstream Services II, LLC in an all-cash transaction for $885 million to expand its Powder River Basin footprint. The deal adds ~1,500 miles of gathering pipelines, ~380 MMcf/d processing capacity and the Thunder Creek NGL pipeline; closing was expected in Q4 2023 subject to customary approvals.
